Surrender Request

We may be able to accept owner surrender in rare cases of extreme hardship.  If we are able to help in the case of an owner surrender there will be a waiting period and we may ask the owner to act as the foster home until the dog can be placed for adoption.

The following veterinary medical records are required for an owner surrender request:

  • Rabies Vaccination
  • DHLPP Vaccination
  • Spay/Neuter evidence (veterinarian documented scar or record of surgery)
  • Heartworm test results

For a dog to be surrendered to NBCR, we ask for the owner's help by providing the following information.

We request as much information as possible from the owner so that we are able to place a dog in an appropriate foster home.  Please provide detailed in responses.
